I have the great honor of being part of the inaugural Artfields competition and festival this year in Lake City, featuring 400 artists from the South East and $100,000 in cash prizes. The opening ceremony took place yesterday and it was amazing to see so many great artists gathered in one place with this much community support. The Artfields crew and organizers have done an amazing job bringing this even to life and turning the whole town into a giant art gallery. The festival runs until next Sunday, with a big closing party next Saturday night and awards being handed out Sunday. Please drive down and make a day of enjoying all of the music, artwork, and great events they have going on all week.
